Brief overview

The International Water Association (IWA) was moving from an existing office in the west end, their new build; The Export Building, is an iconic, feature rich building that exudes style. With large timber beams, exposed services and a water feature nearby, the office was designed to maximise those features. When approaching the design of the office interior we wanted the transition from the public space into the IWA space to feel seamless. This was achieved by using materials and colour palettes that suited both the IWA brand and the building style.

Part of the team from the moment you arrive

The final reception design was located adjacent to the communal tea point. When you arrive at the IWA office you immediately feel part of the team. Visitors can help themselves to refreshments prior to going into one of the nearby meeting rooms or sitting in one of the adjacent railway carriage booths.

The central teapoint

The angular tea point is positioned to be welcoming to the entry point of the office. A geometric tiled splash back is added to reinforce the angular design to the exterior of the building and also the creative carpet layout.

Adjustable rooms

A large boardroom is divided into two small and one medium sized room, providing complete flexibility within the space, from an all hands meeting to smaller focused 1-2-1 meetings, a single space can service all requirements.
